Profil Sampoerna Academy Palembang

SMA Negeri Sumatera Selatan (Sampoerna Academy) was established by  the Government of South Sumatera Province and Sampoerna Foundation to provide the international standard school for the community in South Sumatera. Focusing on students who  come from middle and low financial  economic families, we provide school for them to get the best education with an International outlook . Through holistic, international standard and boarding school, SMAN Sumatera Selatan (Sampoerna Academy) will develop future leaders with global perspective and moral fiber. 
The one of this school’s advantage  is using International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) as the international standard examinations combined with the national curriculum (KTSP-Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan). All students will be housed in a dormitory, where each student will have roommate from various parts of the province and other parts of the country, to promote cross-cultural & inter-faith understanding, respect and tolerance. The boarding education will also facilitate the instilling of important values, such as community service, and life skills such as leadership, personal well-being and entrepreneurship for students who come from underprivileged backgrounds.
